Our Causes
Sister Organizations Partner to Grow Educational Opportunity in Afghanistan
We have partnered with our affiliated sister organization in Afghanistan, Mobaligh Education & Social Services Organization (“MESSO”) to provide educational and social assistance to the underprivileged families in Afghanistan.
Most recently, with the assistance of MESSO, we have sponsored 94 students for a full 12-month school year. During this period, 9 months consists of the regular school year, and during the additional 3 months the students are enrolled in extra curricular courses such as English, Mathematics and Science.
As of spring 2023, we serve 90 students in grades K through 12th and four University students. The sponsorship covers all costs related to tuition, transportation, stationary, books and daily breakfast. We have twelve university students living far from their homes. The sponsorship for these students includes housing, stationary, books, and a monthly meal allowance.
In total we have :
- 21 students enrolled in Abdul Rahman Mobaligh Private School.
- 56 students enrolled in Ghobar Shamal Private School.
- 13 students enrolled in various private schools.
